What is a Lease-Purchase anyway?

How do I know you'll make my mortgage payments?
We can pay you directly or can set up a trust company that will collect the payments from us and then pay the mortgage. Or, if you like, we can pay your bank or credit union directly. If we don't pay, the bank will immediately notify you. You are always in control, whichever method you choose.
What if the tenant/buyer damages my house?
Why don't I just list my home with a Realtor?
That's certainly an option and some Realtors will do an excellent job for you. Please read our Realtor Information section for more information. However, a Realtor won't make your house payments for you while they're trying to sell your house. We pay your house payments, take care of all repairs and maintenance and treat your home with care.
